German Canadian Club

Cultural group. Social group offering cards, soccer, choir, darts, seniors’ activities, and a variety of other activities. Holds dinner and dances all year. Hall rentals (capacity 150 and 300).

The German Canadian Club was established in 1933, providing a meeting place for German immigrants who wished to practice and enjoy the customs and traditions of their homeland. Over time it grew into a cultural centre for immigrants from Germanic countries and a multitude of people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, interested in the rich cultural heritage brought to these shores by German, Austrian and Swiss immigrants.
